Washington Monument Tour | DC Must Do | View from the Top of the Monument

Welcome to Trip Tricks! On this adventure, we go and explore the Washington Monument in the heart of Washington, D.C. We will take a look at what is inside the monument, and explore the grounds around it. We begin our trip with a quick ride on the metro to the Smithsonian and take a lovely walk on the National Mall past some of our favorite museums. Once we arrive, our tour begins with an informative yet entertaining speech from a National Park Ranger. Next, we make our way to the lobby and take the elevator all the way to the top, where we are able to see spectacular views of the U.S. Capitol Building, White House, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, and the Tidal Basin. Then, we explore the museum that is located inside of the monument and finally take the elevator down with an unexpected surprise! We end our day exploring the gift shop, which had some amazing souvenirs. If you're planning a visit to Washington, D.C... this is a great budget friendly activity that your entire family will enjoy.
