Was great to reveal Steelwrist’s SQ tilt coupler to the Australian Market at the recent @dieseldirtandturfexpo. @steelwrist_au_nz showcased the X18 SQ #tiltrotator with a range of attachments that captivated a lot of attention on the most capable machine - a #Kobelco SK135 equipped with a #Trimble #3D #Earthworks #machinecontrol system, installed by @sitechsolutions’ Tony Butters. At the back of the machine installed two #GPS receivers that work with satellites and a remote base or a site base. Inside the cab there is display screen for the operator showing his design and his cut and fill values to the tips of the bucket. The system includes a boom sensor that measures the angle of the boom and a stick sensor that measures the angle of the stick. There is also a sensor on the dog bone that measures the angle of the dog bone and the measurements are taken to the tip of the blade. Tony also installed a sensor on the X18 tiltrotator steelwrist that has been fitted to the machine. This measures the tilt angle of the bucket so that the operator can also cut it in autotilt which makes life a lot easier.
