Today on this 2014 Honda CR-v, we're going to install part number BX2258. This is the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit with removable arms. We'll line this up with slot on the inside and push it in until this compresses and lock here and then rotate it. Then it will automatically lock into place. Then to unlock it, you pull on the ring here, twist it back, and pull out. We need to remove the bumper cover itself, so we need to get underneath the hood and remove some fasteners. First off, one, two, three, four fasteners. We'll start the center rivets with a flat screwdriver and get them started. A lot of times you can just pop them out. If not, maybe a trim panel tool will help, too. OK, let's go down by the wheels on our driver's side, here. We'll go ahead and remove this screw here and these two plastic fasteners. Use a really short screwdriver, or turn the wheels, making access a little bit easier. Let's move over to the passenger side, and do the same thing. Now, we need to get behind our liner here, and find a fastener behind it. OK, there's a little plastic rivet we have to remove located right here. There you go. Move over to the driver's side, and do the same thing. We'll do down to the bottom of the bumper cover on the driver's side, and remove this plastic rivet and this screw. We'll do this on the passenger side as well. Alright, we'll go across the bottom and remove these four fasteners. We need to loosen up this piece of trim right here. We'll pull out the bottom to undo that. It will unsnap all the way up. If you can squeeze on the inside of the fender well, you can make this a little bit easier. There it goes. Work our way up, until we can access this screw here. Once again, a short screwdriver will come in handy. OK, we're done with the driver's side. Let's go back to the passenger side and do the same thing. Now, our vehicle has the fog lights built into the bumper cover, so it's a good idea, at this point, to go ahead and disconnect the electrical. Pull back on the bumper cover, you can reach in and get behind the light. Here is a small tab you push in, and you can release it. I'm going to show you the tab right here. Let's move over to the passenger side, and do the same thing. Let's go ahead and unsnap this edge right here from the body work. If you pull down a little bit, you can see the catches. We're kind of pushing up and then out until we get them all to release. Now, there's a catch right here. Gently pry it up just enough for the screwdriver to break it loose. Here's one right here and one right here. That was the passenger side. Let's do the driver's side. At this point, we we're able to take off the bumper cover. There's a little snap right here, one on each side. We're going to pull it away. Alright, the bumper cover's out of the way, let's go ahead and remove the bumper structure itself. This part will not be reinstalled. There will be four bolts that we have to remove on each side. We'll use a 12 millimeter socket and a really long extension. Now before we take our last two bolts out, let's go ahead and remove the fasteners for our shroud here. There's one on top and there's one on the bottom. OK, let's go over to the driver's side. Now, also, we'll need to remove our temperature sensor as well. To remove our temperature sensor, there's a little tab right here. We'll pull up on it and then it comes right off. OK, let's push those wires off to the side. We'll go ahead and take out these last two bolts. We're using a ratchet wrench here, or a really short socket will work too, a 12 millimeter. There's a couple of little clips that holds the bumper structure in place, after we take out the last two bolts. We'll just pull it up and then pull out. Of course, we have to work our way around the line here, as well. Now, we also do some more trimming on our shroud here to make room for the base plate. We're just going to draw a line here and down and just cut that off with some tin snips. Now, the next step Blue Ox has us do is some more cutting, so we'll go about an inch and a half and remove that section. We're going to do the same thing on the driver's side here, we'll go up about 2 1/2 inches or so and match the other side. Alright, now additional cutting here. Now, we'll need to remove this weld nut, right here. We have one already removed, to show you what it is. We just basically took a chisel to it and knocked it loose. There it goes. Now this line right here, we're going to have to unsnap it from it's mount, just to give us more wiggle room. Now, I can go ahead and put our base plate into pl
