Talismans (25/115) (25/154): - Curved Sword Talisman. * The initial events for Gatekeeper Gostoc’s sidequest may be a bit confusing. Part 1 of his sidequest is his encounter besides Castle Stormveil Main Gate. Part 2 revolves around his stalking phase, which is further divided into two steps: in step 2-A, you can find him in three specific spots but after you advance throughout Stormveil Castle to specific regions (one trigger point for each of his three stalking spots), but he will only appear in one of them (talking to him in one of his stalking spots will cancel the other two); step 2-B corresponds to Gostoc’s laugh while he locks you in a room with a Banished Knight. Part 3 is the end of his stalking phase and he will always appear next to the Rampart Tower Site of Grace after you reach its trigger point (just like part 2-A) and only after you speak with him in one of his three stalking spots related to part 2-A of his sidequest. As soon as you activate his stalking phase, every time you die, he’ll steal 30% of your runes from your bloodstain. Ending his stalking phase will remove this thievery if you die again in Stormveil Castle, but the runes already stolen from him will never be recovered, even if you kill him.
