Can you explore GOZO in just one day? MALTA revealed

Join us on a day trip to Gozo! We jump on a City Sightseeing boat from Sliema and enjoy the beautiful views as we travel north. Then it’s straight onto a Hop On Hop Off bus and head to Victoria. We only had 45 minutes so, sadly, we didn’t get to explore the Cittadelle but we did grab some delicious pastizzis for our lunch. Two for only 1 euro! Back on the bus and we’re off to The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Blessed Virgin of Ta' Pinu (or in Maltese: Santwarju Bażilika tal-Madonna ta' Pinu) Utterly stunning! And it’s always great to make a new grasshopper friend! Our final stop is the Ġgantija Archaeological Park, situated at the centre of an extraordinary archaeological landscape, the Xagħra plateau on the island of Gozo. It consists of two structures built between c.3600 and c.3200 BC. Fascinating! It’s amazing to think that these structures are even older than the Pyramids in Eqypt! Then it’s a quick dash back to Mġarr to catch the boat back to Malta. We really enjoyed our brief time on Gozo. Did we have enough time? Definitely not. Will we return? Absolutely!
