Finally, here is my 100th Extreme Demon completion, Silent clubstep by Sailent. Not much compares to the feeling of having completed something that you’ve perceived as impossible for years. Although it’s nerfed from its original state, I’ll still proudly hold this W. It’s really a shame that this never got to see the top 1 spot, as it deserved. Grinding this level reinforced the idea I've always held, that if you keep going, your goals will be accomplished no matter what. It’s cliche yeah, but I just feel invincible when I beat levels like this. I’m grateful that I've found this game to push myself to the limits, it’s the most fulfilling thing I can do for myself. There are more redeeming qualities of satan himself than this garbage pile. Obviously I'm not holding any of this against Sailent, I mean the level is 8 YEARS OLD. and meant to be yk… impossible. We know that already though. The only credit you can maybe give this level is the dual at 65, and I only say that because it’s pretty fun and satisfying from runs. That would equate to a grand total of 3 seconds, after you’re forced to sit through the other 84 seconds of brain rotting gameplay. I’m sure most of you already know that the predrop is a tricky part I don’t think I need to go over that. I’d rather use my characters to complain about the drop ship. I hate this ship with a passion, and those of you who tuned in to the streams know about it. The transition into it is basically a lucky draw, which is made about 1000x harder by the predrop which I passed like once or twice an hour on my very best days. If you think that’s bad, just a few % up you got yourself a gap about 70 fold worse. I cannot understate the hopelessness that the 30% gap caused me. It’s probably the least consistent thing in any level i’ve played. Look up the hitboxes if you don’t understand. Lucky draw is honestly less luck based. That ship basically cockblocked me from getting anywhere until the last few streams, and it got a little better after the Uncle Sam strat was initiated. There’s not much to comment on about the rest except that the 35% ball suckz and is harder than it looks because you’re forced to buffer all the orbs.
