After trimming and preparing this Tamiya body we now move onto the next step which involves applying the window masks and painting the body. I find that it makes it easier to line up the window masks if you trace around the windows on the outside of the body, then remove a small piece from the centre of the backing paper to avoid potentially losing a window mask through frustration, believe me, I have been there. I have tried not to bore you all with the actual application of the PS-1 paint as this is pretty straight forward if you follow the instructions on the can. I have been thinking about tinting the windows on this car using the Tamiya smoke paint, but I am unsure at this stage. What do you guys think? Be sure to tune in next time when we detail the body and start the arduous task of finishing off this model with the very detailed decal sheets.
