John kindly invited me to visit his studio at the foot the beautiful South Downs in the UK to film him at work. Here is John engraving a lock plate and gold-inlaying left and right detachable locks for a .577 calibre double-barrelled sporting rifle. The lock plate is engraved with traditional English Rose & Scroll patterns - a beloved and iconic design that graces many of the finest English shotguns and sporting rifles.
