The past few weeks have been mentally draining for a lot of us. I didn't know how to cope with it and every time I felt like we were making progress, I would get slammed by reality once again when I would hear the name of another innocent black person who's life was taken too soon. Music has always been an outlet for me, and although it cannot replace concrete actions like signing petitions, donating money and constantly educating myself, I felt like this project could be a way for me to channel some of the anger and sadness that I've been building up inside. I'm so grateful to be able to share this project with all of you. I was lucky enough to collaborate with some AMAZING black artists & I truly could not have done it without them!
