UPDATE 3:    • Numark NS7III troubleshooting   UPDATE 2: bad news for me :( the firware update didn't fix my problem. Turns out there is a bad capacitor on my motherboard. I found out when I could finally turn on my NS7 when my house was really warm. Turns out when a capacitor is bad, it may only work when warmed up. Once my NS7 is on, it will stay on. So I'm just not turning it off anymore. However, I've shared this fix with many others for whom it worked. So here is a link to DL the fix: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/avps3lpn6l... UPDATE: Looks like Brad W found a fix through a firmware update to the NS7III. Another user who encountered the same problem (only Tap, Beat Grid, and Pitch Bend buttons illuminate) tried the firmware fix, and it seemed to work. This is showing a problem I’ve encountered trying to turn on my Numark NS7III. Only the Tap, pitch bend, and beat grid buttons illuminate. First, problems getting the display to work, now this. Not very happy…. BONUS INFO! Dashboard fix! All thanks to him. I’m just sharing the info here that he provided me. “Below is the link for the modified updater. You’ll have to run it on a Windows system. After you click update it will crash and need to be forced closed in the task manager, but before it crashes it sends the command to clear the firmware from all three screens like you see in the video. You’ll see after you run it all three screens will be back with the white text. Then, you can run the firmware updater available from the Numark website. Hopefully that helps.
