I use it to neck turn brass, chamfer and deburr brass, uniform primer pockets, brush the necks on the brass, drill and tap a modified case for the hornady headspace tool, as well as use it to make small parts for the reloading room. With my mini lathe, I can turn 100+ cases per hour and when done, I'm not as tired as I was when I used a cordless drill to drive the cases. I use a collet as a case holder and it works well as it allows me to change out cases without turning the lathe off. This allows me to keep the neck turner spinning at the exact same speed for all my brass. As you can see in the video, making a modified case for the Hornady headspace tool is very easy and fast. The variable speed on the mini lathe makes it easy to drill as well as power tap as I showed on the video. I hope you found this YouTube video helpful.
