Touring with Arkansas Tin Lizzies, Eureka Springs AR @Model T Camp and Adventures

This video is of the spring tour of the Arkansas Tin Lizzies. It was a three-day tour, but we only were able to do day 1 and 2. We had to get back in time to go to Moore Expo in Springfield Mo. right after this tour. We had 2 days of nice touring weather. It was a little cool in the mornings but quickly warmed up to nice days. The museum in Golden Mo. was just over whelming. There was more than a person could take in, in just one visit. No way could I show everything in this video. If you are ever near Golden Mo. I highly recommend stopping for a visit. It is free admission. They do have a donation box if a person wants to donate. Then we went to Roaring River State Park and fish hatchery. It was a beautiful place. That took up most of day 1. We returned to the Motel to just visit and rest up for day 2. On day 2 we drove thru some of Eureka Springs. Then drove by the old Missouri and North Arkansas train depot. Several of our other videos have been taken along parts of the old railroad right of way in various locations in Arkansas. The railroad was torn out in approx. 1946. The last 2 miles of track still in use are in Eureka Springs. They still run a lunch and dinner tourist train out of the old depot. We have already rode the lunch train, so did not go again this time. Then we drove across the old "Little Golden Gate Bridge" in Beaver Arkansas. Its a single lane cable suspension bridge. After that we stopped at a candy store for some of the Tin Lizzies to buy something sweet. After the candy stop, we headed to Pea Ridge National Military Park, near Rogers Ar. It is a civil war battlefield. It is also sometimes known as the battle of Elk Horn Tavern. Only a couple of us did the drive thru auto tour of the battlefield. I think everyone else was getting hungry. Everyone went their own separate way to find lunch. After lunch everyone was to meet at the old War Eagle Mill and Bridge. After some sightseeing around and in the mill we all headed back to Eureka Springs to find something for supper and the others to rest and get ready for day 3 of the tour. We did not go on day 3 but did get up early to say our goodbyes to everyone, as they were headed out on day 3. Overall, it was just a really nice tour and had good weather. A lot of the Model Ts on this tour were open cars. So good weather is always a good thing. Thanks for watching .....
