This is one of three videos , watch them all . I am about to load my van , when another van pulls up and parks aside me on my left hand side , within 1-2 minutes a Lewisham House/Domestic Waste Carrier Lorry reverses into the Industrial Estate and parks right behind the other van . within seconds the council workers talk to the 2 men that had arrived in the van , exchange a few words then cash is paid into the hands of the council workers . As soon as the payment is complete the 2 council workers take the keys off the van driver and begin to unload the van from the back end . It was commercial shop waste ! Gypsum , wood , plastics , concrete bags and wall plaster etc . They dropped a bag filled with dust (Gods knows what it was) but it had triggered off my asthma where I was unable to breathe properly with choking (and later after the incident hyperventilating) and in response I decided to film my environment . Would you believe , that the Commercial Waste Disposal Site was right next door but I bet they were not will to pay the £148 per tonne for legal disposal ! Lewisham Council take note , 1 of 2 things are happening here : either your not paying your employees enough for them to do this , or they have an unquenchable thirst for making profit - at the expense of the British Taxpayers . I am a Scrap Metal Collector , I have a License , it costs money and a heavy questioning interview , as part of holding this license I must also possess a Waste Carriers Licence , and take photos of scrap I sell or find/receive , I abide by the rules why can not they too ? This is unproffessional and unacceptable behaviour .
