This is a beautiful, colourful combination using only three varieties of plants that will brighten up a shade area of your yard. I have created this in a rectangular planter, I will share how you can adapt this recipe to a round container as well. I grow flowers and vegetables in Saskatchewan, Canada. My cold hardiness zone is zone 4. I have an average of 110 frost free growing days each year. The past few years have seen our temperatures go as low as -37C (-34.6F) to as high as 37C (98.6F).
