Learn about the CHS verification options

This animation gives an overview of the options for verification against the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). The CHS is a measurable standard which means organisations can objectively assess their application of it through the CHS Verification Scheme which is managed the CHS Alliance. Organisations that want to assess the degree to which they comply with the CHS can chose from four options in the CHS Verification Scheme: self-assessment, peer review, independent verification, and certification. Choosing to carry-out any of these verification options will give you, your colleagues and your organisation as a whole a solid basis to learn, improve and strengthen capacity.
