Just for context, Boscha is "Nate" in this situation however, you can interpret Boscha's and Amity's relationship as ex-friends or something The overall gist of this is that Boscha and Luz got into some huge fight about stuff and for some reason, Amity took Boscha's side (maybe thinking that's she protecting Luz so Boscha doesn't go after her out of pettiness) .
