Hall of Fame manager George "Sparky" Anderson (who played one season in the bigs) led the Cincinnati Reds to two World Series titles and the Detroit Tigers to another. He is one of only two managers in the Major League Baseball history to win the World Series with clubs in both leagues (Tony LaRussa is the other). When he retired, his 2,194 wins were third most in baseball history. Today, he ranks sixth in career managerial wins, behind Connie Mack, John McGraw, LaRussa, Bobby Cox, and Joe Torre.
