【ピアノ】脳裏上のクラッカー (ずっと真夜中でいいのに。)

Sheet music (楽譜) and MIDI link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pcuft4k... (Yikes, that url) (Also, sorry for the unsightly sheets. I wasn't sure how I could notate those really high notes in the bass cleft without having to use 8va under the bass cleft, which I would like to avoid). Huh. My first non-anime arrangement? I was working on a couple of arrangements for songs from this season, but then I just felt this urge to arrange this song. A really solid song, but I think it was really a blend of wanting to arrange, for once, something outside of anime, having a bunch of arrangement ideas on my first listen, and just enjoying the song a bunch. As you might have noticed, I've replaced my template "【Piano】" for "【ピアノ】". This is mostly because, unfortunately, the video for the original song is region-blocked and only available in Japan :( I also think it just looks nicer, so I may keep it this way in the future. After finally completing and uploading my asphyxia video, I've been feeling a lot more motivated. The ideas for arrangements have flowed uninhibited, and it's pretty liberating. Although I don't think this song was particular difficult to arrange compared to other songs, working on this felt very seamless. I didn't struggle nearly as much as I have in the past with transcribing with variation. The second part of the first verse deviates from exactly how it is in the original, but I'm happy with how it turned out. Another point of interest is the use of glissandi. Despite having used them in previous arrangements, I think this was my first time actually using the proper gliss notation in the software. I'm not sure it's any different than stringing together several short notes, but it sure does tidy up the sheet music (although I probably should have used the arpeggio notation for the left hand in the first verse. Meh, whatever). As for the VST, I've decided to go with me classic for this video, but I also might just stick with it for my videos from now on. The VST I've used in my recent videos is very inconsistent (it's free. figures). That's pretty much it for now; I haven't got much else to say. But you can expect another video soonish? There are tons of songs I wanna do from this season and I have a lot more time on my hands now, so I'll be spending a lot more time on my Youtube channel in the coming months. Thanks for watching/reading. Until next time. (Oh, and I really hope there are no copyright issues :/) Credit for the background video goes to the respective creators.
