Creative Portrait Photography Continuous Lighting Tips

When you shoot portrait photography with continuous lighting as opposed to flash strobes, you immediately see how tiny adjustments make major differences. You'll see this in action in this video by Jonny Edward, along with scores of other tips and advice. Jonny is an accomplished editorial and fashion photographer, art director, and creative educator. In addition to providing lots of insight on how to capture dramatic and engaging studio portraits, he specifically highlights the virtues of two surprisingly affordable spotlights from Nanlite, the FS-300B and FS-60B. With durable, built-to-last construction, and highly color-accurate and beautiful light output, both of these lights are hard to beat. The onboard controls are easy to use, they can be directly controlled via built-in Bluetooth with the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android (as Jonny demonstrates in the video), and they can be wirelessly controlled with 2.4G in situations where you don't want to use a phone or tablet. The FS-300B has a Bowens Mount, so it works with a vast number of modifiers, and the FS-60B has the FM Mount, which has its own ecosystem of modifiers, and it comes with a Bowens Mount adapter as well. Both light are bi-color, which means you can easily adjust the color temperature from warm, indoor lamp tones, to the white light of bright sunshine, and every shade in-between. Jonny demonstrates this as well, and gives you a taste for how many different looks this feature provides. #editorialfluidity 😉 Gear used in this video (in order of appearance): Nanlite FS-300B - https://nanliteus.com/nanlite-nanlite...
