Bleu de chaffe Is a relatively new company. Their artisans have been making handmade leather bags in France for the last 10 years. The company focuses on using more sustainable materials to make their leather goods like full grain, vegetable, tan leather, and cotton canvas and sometimes organic cotton. Aside from the tanning process, every other aspect of production is done in their warehouse that houses about 20 artisans that use old school machinery to produce their products. I have to say, for about 20 artisans, they produce a lot of products because Bleu de Chauffe's catalog is huge. They make briefcases, satchels, messenger bags, camera bags, backpacks, business bags, tote bags, motorcycle bags, laptop cases, wallets, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
