Enforcer™ Pumper – Springfield, IL

Springfield Fire Department has taken delivery of their first of seven #Enforcer #Pumpers! Each #Pumper was designed with a severe duty bumper for ease of deployment in alleyways and for vehicle accidents. To secure the engines quickly, power locks were added. All vinyl seats were installed with a 17” cushion for ease of cleaning and maintenance. Select compartments are equipped with electrical outlets for charging tools and monitors. Per firefighter preference, forward facing SCBA seats were installed for increased visibility when arriving on scene. Above the EMS compartments, ballistic equipment will be stored. A smaller pump panel design allowed for a shorter wheelbase and increased maneuverability. By omitting crosslays, their department was able to expand compartment space availability. On top of each engine, a deck gun valve is placed next to the deck gun for increased user control. On the rear of the apparatus, the hosebed is lowered to minimal height. Due to prior loss of communication during extreme weather conditions, an AM/FM radio is an added safety feature to each apparatus. #SpringfieldIL Chassis: 70” Enforcer cab with 10” raised roof Seating Capacity: 4 Overall Height: 10’ 2” Overall Length: 31’ 8” GVW Rating: 45,000 lb Engine: Cummins L9, 450 hp, 1250 lb-ft Safety: Frontal Impact Protection and Side Roll Protection Electrical: Hard Wired Pump: Waterous, 1500 gpm Tank: 750-gallon Job Number: 37340 Dealership: MacQueen Emergency Group CHAPTERS 0:19 – Severe duty front bumper design 0:43 – Roto-Ray warning light 1:00 – Crew cab layout and design 2:11 – EMS compartment 3:16 – Pump panel design 3:58 – Omitting of crosslays 4:13 – Roof-mounted deck gun 5:00 – Driver’s side compartmentation 6:43 – Rear design and hosebed 7:52 - Officer’s side compartmentation 9:54 – AM/FM radio 10:37 – Emergency and scene lighting package
