However, we don’t think enough about who gets to live forever. It’s not about awards. It’s not about quality, about prestige, about box office, or about how much a piece pushes the medium. Sometimes it’s just about who’s being shown. Whose story gets to be told. Because we’ll never know what we’ve already forgotten.
