Each segment is assembled from one set of 45544 and one 45560 plus one color sensor and an M-motor. There is an ultrasonic sensor on the front module for a simple collision avoidance algorithm. Another feature is smart foot control, which allows the robot to maintain a horizontal body position when moving through obstacles. This robot is designed to study multiprocessor systems and the optical transmission of information in classes with children 11-16 years old.
