Comparing the Umarex Legends P08 Luger air gun standard and blow back models.

Features of the two “Legend” models Umarex currently produces of the P08 Luger are compared. The 2251800 model is double action, while the 2251803 has a more realistic blow back single action operation with a folding toggle like that of the real P08 Luger. The standard Umarex Legends P08 Luger model has a higher velocity (410 fps). The blow back model has a slower advertised velocity (300 fps). Air temperature will have an impact on velocity speeds. Magazine capacity for both is 21 .177 mm steel BBs. The power source is a 12 gram C02 capsule. The standard model should give more shots per CO2 capsule load than the blow back model. When ordering either of the Umarex Legends P08 Luger models, check the model number before buying to ensure you are buying the model you want (standard or blow back). The price of the standard model is about half of the blow back model. Introduced by Umarex in 2014, these air gun P08 Luger models are near realistic in appearance, size and weight. They can be found with relatively inexpensive prices now several years after their initial introduction if you catch them on sale and with free shipping at some of the online retailers. Currently in most states, BB guns are not considered firearms and can be ordered and shipped to your door. Check your local laws for possible restrictions and/or requirements.
