Join me as I unbox, speed build and review the 2020 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Astronomy Tower and join it to Hogwarts Great Hall, Whomping Willow and Clock Tower sets to make a huge minifigure scale LEGO Hogwarts Castle. 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower is a 971 piece 2020 LEGO set based on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and includes Harry Potter, Horace Slughorn, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Ron Weasley, Lavender Brown, Draco Malfoy LEGO minifigures and Harry's owl Hedwig. Why not subscribe at https://goo.gl/bk9GsJ 75969 Hogwarts Astronomy Tower is one of the new 2020 LEGO Harry Potter sets and joins up to other LEGO Hogwarts sets from the 2018 and 2019 LEGO Harry Potter waves, namely 75953, 75954 and 75948. You'll see all four LEGO Hogwarts sets joined together in this video. The tallest of all the towers at Hogwarts, the Astronomy Tower stands over 15 inches or 40 cm high but that does make this 2020 Harry Potter set rather fragile as I found during the creation of this Astronomy Tower review video. Interiors include Horace Slughorn's potions classroom where Harry earned the prize of Felix Felicis by copying the instructions of The Half Blood Prince who later turns out to be Severus Snape. Many of the LEGO minifigures are dressed for The Slug Club's Christmas party, an exclusive gathering hosted by Horace Slughorn attended by the famous or talented witches and wizards that Slughorn seeks to "collect". Hermione wears the same pink dress, Harry is attired in smart dress robes and his date, Luna Lovegood wears a suitable eccentric party frock. This makes for some great 2020 LEGO Harry Potter minifigures! The Astronomy Tower houses Slughorn's office which includes references to the Half Blood Prince movie such as a bottle of Bungbarrel Mead, with which Draco was attempting to poison Dumbledore and Slughorn's hourglass which slows down if the conversation is engaging. One of the Ravenclaw dormitories is housed in the Astronomy Tower although in reality this would have been in Ravenclaw Tower and the Potions classroom is located in the dungeons. Finally at the top of the Astronomy Tower we find the open-air terrace where Draco faces Dumbledore after allowing Bellatrix, Fenrir and The Carrows to enter the castle. Because it seemed rude not to, I recreate the epic scene leading up to Dumbledore's demise in LEGO! 8 LEGO Minifigures are included with the 2020 LEGO Astronomy Tower including Harry Potter, Ron (Won Won) Weasley, Lavender Brown, Potions Master Horace Slughorn, Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom and Draco Malfoy.
