Sometimes, after years of play time, certain parts on a guitar just need to be swapped out. In the case of this bridge, it was pretty much unplayable. It had partially collapsed and the saddles were aged, worn and oxidized beyond use. We have a brand new, official Gibson nickel bridge for this '78 Silverburst Custom. Many players prefer the ABR-1, but these models originally came with Nashville style bridges on them. So, to keep this period correct, that's what we'll be installing here. We will notch out these saddles with some files from Stewart MacDonald and get this beauty back to making music!! Let's get this bridge on this Les Paul!!  Check out my review of this guitar, after this bridge was installed!
