Believe it or not this is one of the nicest cars we have! They started with a solid car and gave it a show quality, body off frame restoration. Not only does it look new, but it also functions and feels like new! EXTERIOR: Absolutely straight, pristine body. The panels fit precisely. No rust, damage or body work showing. Repainted its original Placer Gold color. The metal flake is laid out nice, the clear coat is polished smooth and glossy. All the chrome and stainless is straight and sparkling. The glass is clear. The side windows roll smooth and fit right. The vinyl top is new. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. 15 inch rally wheels are restored and have BFG tires. INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car, looking all around and it is in fantastic condition. The seat cushions are nice and firm, the upholstery is in excellent shape. The door panels and armrests are mint. In front of me it has an excellent dash. Monte Carlos come with the woodgrain instrument panel. The heater control panel, the gauges, knobs are all clean. It still has its original AM radio, nothing's cut or broken. Inside the glove box is an owner's manual and working light. Overhead is a nice tight headliner with matching visors. It has all the seat belts. Carpet was replaced. It has a nice center armrest console. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is restored and detailed to factory condition. Clean Chevy orange on the 350 with stock manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. It even has the heat riser tube, heat shields around the spark plugs, original style ribbed heater hoses etc. Features include power steering and power brakes. It also has factory air conditioning. We replaced the compressor and recharged the system. Everything is proper, neat, and tidy. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It is pristine and complete. Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted as slick as the car. It has a new mat, weatherstrip and decal. All clean rust free metal with a neat gray and white spatter finish. It even has a reproduction white oval tire on a restored rally wheel for a spare. The tire has never been used. The jack assembly is restored. UNDERSIDE: It was body off frame restored. The front and rear suspension was completely rebuilt. It has front and rear sway bars. In back it is upgraded with QA1 adjustable gas shocks. The brake system was completely rebuilt, it has disc in front. It has a nice custom Pypes exhaust with an x-pipe and stainless mufflers. The fuel system was replaced including the tank. Looking up at the motor it looks new, the starter is fresh. The Turbo 350 automatic is fresh, drive shaft was rebuilt. It has it's original 10 bolt rear with cruising gears. There are zero signs of rust under this car. The floors, frame, braces, rockers are dry, smooth metal painted semi-gloss black. SERVICE: We inspected the car and replaced the a/c compressor and recharged the system wih r134. CONCLUSION: This car is a pure pleasure to own. The quality will impress, the looks and function. It would cost $100,000 to duplicate today! I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom.
