Fibroid Uterus || Ultrasound || Case 01 Clinical History: Around 50 years old female patient came with: - Menorrhagia - Dysmenorrhoea Ultrasound Findings: - Bulky uterus - An oval hypoechoic intramural fibroid at the anterior myometrium - Thickened endometrium (15mm) Intramural fibroids usually shouldn't cause a menstrual disturbance. So, in such cases, we try to evaluate the endometrium carefully. It's better to magnify the image using the 'Zoom' & 'Depth' buttons and search carefully. In this case, the patient also has a tiny submucous fibroid protruding to the endometrium from the myometrium and that's the principal factor causing a menstrual disturbance.
