How to Play CANTABILE on the Piano [Feat. Beethoven, Mozart, Chopin]

This video contains five techniques to help you play the piano with a cantabile, singing line. This is the next video in my series on playing expressively at the piano. Playing "cantabile," or in a singing manner, is an elusive and essential component of playing the piano. Some people think that you either naturally "play musically" or you don't "play musically," but playing cantabile and with a singing tone is a skill that you can develop. You can develop self-awareness and the ability to really listen to your own sound in order to improve your ability to play cantabile, with a sustained, singing line at the piano. 🎶 Musical examples used in this video: Beethoven- Sonata in C Minor Op. 13 "Pathetique," Movement II Mozart - Sonata in C Major, K. 330, Movement II Chopin - Nocturne in F Minor, Op. 55, No. 1. 👉 View or download the first page of these three examples for free: https://thepianoprof.com/Cantabile 📪 SUBSCRIBE to my free weekly newsletter: https://thepianoprof.com/subscribe 🎥 RELATED VIDEOS: How to Play With a Legato Touch at the Piano:    • How to Play with a Legato Touch at th...   EXPRESSION and Musical Gestures:    • EXPRESSION and Piano Practice 🎶 [Beet...   Using the Time Signature to Play More Expressively:    • How to Play the Piano MORE EXPRESSIVE...   How to Apply Wrist Circles in Piano Technique:    • 🎹 What are WRIST CIRCLES in Piano Tec...   👉DOWNLOAD MY FREE PDF TECHNIQUE PRACTICE COMPANION https://thepianoprof.com/PracticeComp...
