This property is located on a cobbled lane adorned by colourful bougainvillea trees, in the picturesque village of Milatos. At the end of this lane one finds a beautiful traditional village home that once belonged to the author Lili Zografou , a Greek journalist, novelist, and political activist. The current owners bought the house about 20 years ago and updated the bathrooms and kitchen. The property is made up of two large open-plan living spaces, each with their own living room area, dining room area, bathroom and “bedroom” (a traditional wooden mezzanine double bunkbed with a curtain for additional privacy). One of the living spaces has a skylight and a large old oven which was once used by the villagers to bake their breads, as well as an additional bedroom in the back. In the middle of these two areas is the common kitchen. Both areas have their own entrances/exits as well as back doors leading out to a common courtyard. From here, concrete stairs lead up to the terrace which has lovely views of the village and the sea. Across the cobbled path, opposite the main house, is another building which has been partly renovated and can be completed and refurbished into a guest room with a bathroom. The toilet, basin and a small kitchenette have already been installed. There is also a lovely garden as well as a large shed opposite the main house, surrounded by trees and shrubs that offer more than enough shade. A lovely spot for entertaining and soaking up the sun. There are two areas to park: The one is at the church about 30meters away, and the other, directly next to the property, on the quiet country road at the other end of the property.
