With The Police, and especially Sting in fact, persisting in their refusal (or rather fear, I think) to make that new material that everyone is really waiting for, we - the loyal fans - have to get the job done. So take a moment for this refreshed version of ‘Walking In Your Footsteps’. Don’t be deceived by the live video footage, what you hear is never what you see. The video is only made to support the audio remix. I really never liked the Synchronicity studio version of WIYF, but on stage in the early 80’s they turned it partly into an interesting piece. So I juggled a bit with the better pieces, especially Andy’s guitar parts. And I definitely left out the ugly pan flute at the beginning. Many sound shards are involved, but predominantly is a rehearsal version of the early eighties. All footage used is around on the internet. Really hope you enjoy it.
