Here's another Grolier Interactive game, which is this time around, a space combat game, that tried to be like Colony Wars or Wing Commander, but it failed miserably, because of one major flaw, which kills this game as a whole: It's Repetitive! And here's why: The game has only 5 types of missions, which consist of attacking or defending a convoy in space, attacking or defending a mine on a planet, or destroy a base, and that's it. These types of missions are being repeated over and over again, especially in Simulation Mode, where you are forced to do the same thing over and over again. Like the previous two Grolier Interactive games, that I showcased to you before, this game also got a subpar PS1 port, where it has framerate issues to no end, as is the case with the PS1 ports of the previous Grolier Interactive games, that I've shown earlier. But not only that, the PS1 version also suffers from very long load times (The planet-based missions take even longer to load), hence why the PC version is being played instead, as it loads always quicker. The version that I'm playing is the PC version, although the menus have been recorded from the PS1 version (via Epsxe emulator), since Fraps cannot record the PC version's menus properly (No icons and no videos in menus).
