John Farnham: The Eighties Soundtracks Mock-Up Album

In a little departure from my 6 previous videos, this is my first audio-only experiment. From 1984 to 1986, while working with the Little River Band, John Farnham spent time travelling back and forth from the U.S. It was here where he embarked on a side project, recording songs for American motion picture soundtracks. The two most noteworthy were "Savage Streets" - the Linda Blair (of "The Exorcist" fame) led teen vigilante action flick, and the BMX sports film "Rad" - both of which seem to have a deep cult following. These soundtrack releases are now highly sought-after due to Farnham's ever-increasing popularity and staying power. What I present to you here is a fictional 10-song (nearly 40 minutes) mock-up album of the songs John recorded for 5 different movies - "Savage Streets", "Rad", "Voyage of the Rock Aliens", "Fletch" and "The Slugger's Wife".
