Justaircraft is an aircraft kit manufacturer based in South Carolina. Just about all their aircraft models are tailwheel draggers and bush planes. You may have seen my flight review on the Superstol XL model. Today we’re checking out the standard Superstol airplane model. It’s a light sport in the experimental category. The Standard Superstol LSA uses a 100 hp rotax 912 engine. But since it’s an experimental, you can play around with your engine options, may be even opt for the more powerful Rotax 914 turbo charged engine. There is plenty of power punch in the standard 100HP engine though. Being A light weight LSA, the superstol will takeoff in about 400 feet, may be even much less. And your landing distance is even shorter at only 250 ft The wing design in this aircraft allows it to fly nice and steady in low and slow configurations. This is not your typical cross-country plane. This is an airplane you take to the backcountry and fly away. Pricing for Justaircraft models start at just $25k for the Highlander. As you move up into the Superstol lines of aircraft, the price goes up to about $42k for a full airplane kit.
