Chunhyang National Changgeuk Company of Korea Live from 14 May 2020, National Theater of Korea National Changgeuk Company of Korea is back in the full-swing coming back with a new production based on pansori ‘Chunhyangga’. It was ‘Chunhyangjeon’ that the masters of the time performed at Hyopyulsa temple to celebrate the 40th anniversary on the reign of Gojong in 1902, and ‘Chunhyangga’ was the first repertoire of National Changgeuk Company of Korea which was established in 1962. And, in 2020, the upcoming changgeuk to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the National Theater will be presented is Chunhyang (working title). Pansori 'Chunhyangga' is the timeless classic for Korean and always accompanies with the compliments of the best and first when it is mentioned.
