I believe Sapan will become a popular luxury camping spot in the mountains of Nan Thailand. You need to visit this place now before tourism really changes it beyond what it is. Of course, it is already a tourist village, it is not rural Thailand. But it is special, it is still almost unseen Thailand for foreign visitors.
