How to Hesi in Basketball | 3 options to FREEZE your Defender 🥶

In this Video we break down How to Hesi in Basketball with 3 different options! Allowing yourself to have a move that looks similar to a defender freezes them when they are trying to defend you. This skinny drop footwork is used to land in the position that allows us to access our options. Out of the skinny drop (narrow stance with ball side forward) we can hesi and step into a shot, we can hesi and drive by, and we can hesi drive by and pump fake. I noticed I made a mistake in saying that the lift occurs in each scenario but when the defender is playing back and I already know I'm going to drive, instead of lifting I just get straight into my drop footwork that still allows me to hesi and pull up. Practicing all 3 options truly allows you to freeze your defender. Whether its for a pull up, drive, or to pump fake.. that is all up to the read that you make within the game! This is a move I ALWAYS used to get asked about.
