Jaywalkers live from Marsden Americana & Bluegrass Day - session 3 of 4

Welcome to part 3 of our livestream from Marsden Americana & Bluegrass Day in West Yorkshire, UK! We have a fabulous line-up of exceptional roots music artists performing at our one-day festival on Saturday 22nd June, and this session features Jaywalkers (UK). Jaywalkers hail from Cheshire in northwest England, and draw on influences including folk, bluegrass, jazz and country music. They've cemented their place as one of the most talented folk-Americana bands in the UK, since reaching the finals of the BBC Young Folk Awards back in 2008. The trio has toured across the UK and Europe, and have released four albums to date. Mandolin maestro Mike Giverin is also the chief songwriter, and the band’s fine originals stand proudly alongside footstomping bluegrass tunes and superb interpretations of country classics. In Jay Bradberry, the band has a truly sensational lead singer and fiddle player, and double bassist Lucille Williams is one of the best around. Please hit that share button! Donationa are welcome at paypal.me/TrueNorthMusicUK While this event is supported by public funding from Arts Council England, we also rely on ticket income and donations to cover all costs. Any livestreaming donations will go towards covering artist and video crew fees. Thanks to the technical crew from @northerncowboyfilmsuk9217 who are filming and livestreaming the event for us today (and to our sound team led by Joe Rusby).
