IBA Engineering Announcements - Tuesday April 26th 1990

This programme for the "Television and Radio Trade" was broadcast every Tuesday morning on ITV from the IBA HQ at Crawey Court in Hampshire. The IBA used to be responsbile for licensing, broaddcasting and ensuring technical standards of all Independent Television and Radio. This particular programme features the BSB satellite service which was due to begin broadcasts in five days time on 29th April 1990 and takes a look around the Marco Polo building which is now the home of QVC. There is also an feature about the technical aspects of D2MAC broadcasting as used by BSB and conditional access systems.
