This was Francisca's fastest lap from her first track day, ever. It's a little different from autocross or common rental go karts. Oregon Raceway Park (ORP) has 16 corners and several blind crests throughout that will put you in the dirt if you aren't in the right spot. There were a lot of firsts for her at this event, but she ended the day lapping the track with confidence in her line - a solid foundation for adding speed between elements and carrying a little more through them. Looking at other laps, she would have shaved off 2 seconds in this run if she didn't slow so much to let the Cayman pass on the straight.
