Place a steamer basket into a large stock pot, and pour enough water to just below the bottom of the steamer basket. 2. Bring water to a rolling boil. 3. Lay asparagus in a steamer basket, cover, and steam until crisp-tender, about 4-5 minutes. 4. Transfer asparagus to a serving dish, drizzle with olive oil, season with salt and pepper to taste. 5. Garnish with lemon and serve immediately.
