Re-upload I promise not to make a habit of this, but the first mix of this cover was really bugging me. I went back and did another mix, in the hopes that it'd be more enjoyable to listen to. Ideally I'd just swap out the audio on my original upload, but since YT doesn't allow that, here it is again. Original Post New bass! I've had it a while now, but finally decided to try a bass-only cover with it. It's not an actual Fender, despite the headstock logo, but an Indonesian-made copy. Action's significantly higher than my Dingwall, which makes it a different beast, on top of having fewer strings. I'm digging the change of pace! I got into J-Rock around the time I first started playing bass, and this was one of my favourite tunes to jam along with. Toshiya's sense of melody on the instrument is really inspiring, and emulating his picking with just fingers is a real workout.
