Laakso Hospital Location: Lääkärinkatu 8, Helsinki, Finland Most elevators at this hospital are vintage KONE traction types of varying age. We only found two exceptions, one Valmet-Schlieren traction elevator and one Geijer (KONE) hydraulic elevator. Two KONE freight elevators have been modernized by SHU (generic) in 2015. Fortunately I managed to document both of them in original condition in 2013. Trivia: Three elevators have 90° door arrangements. One elevator even has a gate. The oldest elevator is from 1957. Four generations of KONE fixtures are present in this video, black round buttons, black rectangular buttons, white round buttons and M buttons. See if you can find them all.
