There is a driver's cabin at both the front and rear of the vehicle. It has a range of 80 km with a full charge. It can go 20 km with 50 minutes of charging. It has 4 wagons and a capacity of 420 passengers. This capacity is extremely important because while 150 passengers were carried in the previous vehicles, passengers were transported in the recently purchased vehicles with a capacity of 280 people. "Now, with this vehicle, passenger capacity will increase to 420," he said. Pointing out that the electric metrobus operates completely silently, Demet emphasized that noise pollution will be prevented. Demet said, “New generation electric metrobuses provide fuel savings of 100 million liras per 2.5 thousand kilometers. In other words, it provides 60 percent fuel savings compared to diesel vehicles. It prevents 300 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. This figure is equivalent to planting 8 thousand trees a year in Istanbul. Considering that 1 thousand km of travel is done on the Metrobus line in just 250 day, a very significant fuel saving will be achieved for Istanbul. "It will also make a significant contribution to a more environmentally friendly Istanbul," he said.
