CreamyObsession.com SoapStencils.com ******** One of my favorite childhood memories was going mushroom picking with my father. There used to be a nook in the woods behind our house where there was always an abundance of edible varieties and it was our secret that we shared. Every fall after a few days of rain, we would go there. It was hidden past an area that was a web of thorns. Have you ever tried fresh picked, fried mushrooms? There’s almost nothing that tastes better! I wanted to make a mushroom soap as the mark of the beginning of my autumnal line. Of course, red mushrooms are poisonous, but they sure look bright and festive! The fragrance accelerated a little bit and didn’t come out exactly as envisioned, but it does look whimsical and fun. And I’d say my little experiment with the crumbled soap bits and the shredded “moss” were a success! The fragrance is an a blend of cedarwood, sandalwood, oakmoss, with notes of lemon and pettigrain along with some tonka beans with essential oils blended in it. It smells very woodsy and pleasant!
