Hong Kong is experiencing a Housing Crisis, caused by many infrastructure and development related problems. So to try and put an end to the long term housing crisis, The Hong Kong Government created the Lantau Tomorrow Vision. The plan has a goal of creating 3 new man-made islands in the South China Sea, creating homes for up to 1.1 Million People. While creating housing for up to 1 Million people seems like a great idea, there is a lot of controversy surrounding the project, and its environmental impact. Throughout the video, I explain how the government aims to complete this project, and its current stage of development. Will the project actually be completed? Does the government have the capital to fund the project? There is much uncertainty surrounding the project, and its future as Hong Kong's largest Infrastructure Project.
