STAND BY ME CHRIS PAULSON AND DAVID RAITT. The other night Chris Paulson (guitar, vocals, harmonica) and David Raitt (bass guitar, harmonica, flute, percussion, vocals) performed to a full house at Bezos de Mescal in Pescadero. The evening was filled with a combination of original tunes by the artists as well as covers of great pop and rock hits. David Raitt described how the cadre of great musicians in the Todos Santos area get together in different combinations to perform live music in Cerritos, Pescadero and Todos Santos. Chris Paulson performs Mondays at La Morena in Todos Santos. David Raitt and Barry Cloyd have been performing Sundays at Pizzera El Potrero in Pescadero. All of them alone and together as regulars at Poke Loko in Las Tunas on the north edge of Todos Santos. He is great example of the harmonies of these musicians on Ben E King's Stand by Me. Enjoy.
