I decided to see what it would be like to travel on foot from one spring to the next...so I camped out at Stump Spring, NV, then got up and walked 24 miles to the next water source, which was Resting Springs, CA! What an epic adventure -- there is so much history (and so much weird stuff) on this lonely desert highway!
