There is a lot of information contained here that will most likely answer your questions. On February 28, 2022 at 1830 hours Newark F.D. was dispatched to 155 N. Cedar Street for a report of a commercial fire. This is a popular restaurant/pub with a single apartment above. Upon arrival of Battalion-1 fire was observed on the rear (Charlie) in the area of the kitchen. Crews entered the back of the building to attack the kitchen fire and determined that the fire was in the ceiling and walls. The following units were on the initial assignment: Battalion-1 Rescue-1 Ladder-2 Ladder-3 Medic-3 Engine-5 Medic-5 Engine-52 (Heath FD) Rescue-101 (Madison Twp FD) This fire progressed to a second alarm with mutual-aid being provided from a number of departments. Despite an aggressive attack with multiple hand lines the building was a total loss. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental as a result of unattended cooking equipment. There were no injuries to any civilians or firefighters. This video was recorded with a Motorola Z Force Droid cell phone, which limits the length of each video to about 30 minutes.
