Lonely the flute does sing Long are the nights it brings Paths made from right and wrong When I wake, our dreams are all but gone To the world, you wear your sins upon your sleeve Bloodied blades grant your reprieve Mountains and seas Can you hear me? The echoes of our song will never leave And as we pass through life in joy and in pain Watch the same moon wax and wane Though the wind carries your wings far and wide We sing under the same sky Travel a thousand roads End with the lives you’ve owed Paths walked in right and wrong In my dreams, where memories belong To the world, you wear your sins upon your sleeve Bloodied blades grant your reprieve Mountains and seas Do you hear me? The echoes of your smile will never leave So raise a glass to life and its joy and pain Watch the moonlight wax and wane Let us brave the storm with hope by our side Singing our song to the sky So raise a glass to life and its joy and pain Let the moonlight pave the way Won’t you walk the storm with your hand in mine? Singing our song to the sky Singing our song to the sky Singing our song to the sky ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ ♫ Soooo I just finished watching The Untamed and BOI LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THIS SHOW. First of all, the music has no right to slap this hard. After hearing this song for 50 episodes (and losing a piece of my soul every time) I KNEW I had to give writing an English version a shot. I focused more on evoking the emotions and imagery of the original Chinese versus providing a literal translation. I hope you like what I've done!
